    Bye Bye BMW >56k

It's been 15 months - time to trade the BMW in and try something different. So I gave it a wash and dyson tonight and took a few shots for the memories. I'll pick up the new car tomorrow evening - I love buying cars.

Wise old man won't you help me please? My house is a squash and a squeeze.

Not normally a BMW fan (unless it's an M Coupé) but that looks very tidy, nice job

I rekon it's the tyre dressing. No matter how crap the car is, tyre dressing always seems to make it look 20 times better. Never leave home without any.

In a moment of madness I priced a few 04 M3 coupes, but 21k and my car was too rich - unless I suddenly come into a load of money I couldn't realistically afford it. Someone from the BMW forum convinced me of that - "if you think you can't afford it, your right."
The car does look good when it's cleaned up - very difficult when you live in the country, but I didn't use any tyre dressing - just gave them a good scrub.
I won't say what I'm trading it in for, lets just say it's gonna have a bit more grunt.

Hmm. how about a 350z + another 10k for twin turbo conversion, some nice wheels and tyres, and coilovers. No m3 will have a hope of touching that

Theres M3's for sale all over the place local to me every little garage has one. They dont seem to shift at 30k for a second hand one. I know why

    Why ever not

Seems rather bizarre to post up on a forum that you are changing cars and then not say what you are changing to

I should have said, I won't say what I'm getting YET - this is more fun and seems to be quite common on hexus.

I love the Nissan 350z - but I had to sell my TT last January as we had a baby - so there's less chance of getting her into a 2 seater.

Thats a damn shame. 350z in a different league to TT as well, hope you get to experience one some time
