grr at halfords!

I was in halfords, and needed a rear wiper and thought I may as well replace the air filter, so I consulted their books in store / the chaps in store to see what i needed for my car, and then bought them... first the wiper wasn't the right fit!

Then later when i tried changing the air filter, it was the right fit either!

How annoying!!! If they're going to provide in store help in the form of guides, or advice then they should at least make sure it's correct!!!

Anyone know where I can get a decent (but cheap) air filter for a 1.25 zetec engine Ford Fiesta (99-02 model)?

OEM parts for ford's are shockingly cheap

Funny you should say that, i bought a pack that is supposed to be for my model peugeot 306 XR 1.4 L reg which has a rear wiper.

When i tried to fit it thursday there were only two wipers in the pack..

Luckily the rear wiper had not worn down so the pack had enough for the two front wipers.

Halfords have never sold wiper blade packs that include both the front and rear wipers... The rear wipers are listed seperatly in the next column in their little book guide (if I remember correctly) Actually I don't think other makes do either. I know for sure Bosch don't.

Joshwa, Halfords' info on rear wiper blades have never been great! I lost count the amount of times it was wrong! (I used to work there years ago p/t ) They should have been able to order in the correct air filter for you if their one was wrong. They can get them in next day, sometimes even same day.
