    Convertible Car Hire?

Seeing as my westy is off the road for the summer.

I want to try and convince his insurance co to hire me a convertible for the summer, seeing as that was the whole point of getting a westy.

    So....

Who hires something like an MGF, MX5, 206cc, AudiTT, BMW Z3/4 etc?

    Cheers,

    Lee.

And writting off a hire car is one of the 50 things to do before you die - might not be worth trying in a convertable though ...

    coco

seeing as you (presumably) havnt got your diesel micra etc yet, why not buy a convertable for the summer, then flog it and get a micra at the end? you probably wont loose that much money and you could get something like an a4 convertable or volvo c70, z3, z4, 9-3 convertable etc..

probably cos if it works like he wants it too, he can get one for free, and then not have it hangin round his neck come winter....

I know the thrifty near to where I used to live often was advertising on its windows rentals on a sports car, might have been a lotus elise or porsche boxter, can't remember. Might be worth just phoning a few local firms see if they have anyting suitable.
