Most number plate companies are in Ireland, etc...... as they get around making plates up without seeing ya car documents.

Are the older style (black and silver) plates still road legal if it's not an old car? I hope they are they would contrast my blue car nicely...

ya only allowed non-reflective black/silver style if the car is registered before 197x... not sure on the exact year.... but its around then.

Don't get a non-standard font numberplate - it just marks you down as a giant penis...

sorry slight hi-jack but is there anything wrong with my number plate? I thought you just had to consider the boundary between the edge of the plate and the letters and the gaps between the letters themselves...

    See here 120kb image

I was stopped by the police last night just outside Canterbury and it was recommended to me that 'I get it changed before someone less reasonable spots me'

its not the correct size and spacing.

    http://www.4plates.co.uk/legalplates.asp

    standard size = 520mm x 111mm or square 280mm x 203mm

    ie C12 becomes CR
