The Hyper 7 serie of buggies are pretty good. Very very fast. The Traxxas Revo is more of a monster truck, but handles like a buggy.

Whats your budget, what do you want to do with the it? Race or bash about with it? Have you had any experience with them before?

Schumacher RC cars are the best ones i've ever raced.

Certainly not cheap to buy up front but i'd have thought £150 would be doable for one off e-bay.

http://www.racing-cars.com/main.asp is the main site for the manufacturer.

One thing i'd check however, is that whatever car you buy, make sure you have a parts supplier close, as guarenteed you will be wanting them sooner rather than later

Please don't buy that buggy. You'll regret it.

Give me 30mins on eBay I'll try and dig something out for you.

    Have you got these already?

    - Battery pack + charger,
    - Fuel,
    - Transmitter,
    - Crystals,
    - Glow starter + charger.

Looks a good deal, email the seller and ask how many tanks of fuel it's had.

I dont think this is as good as above, but worth a look at...

Might be worth keeping an eye out on this one.

To be honest I'll try and save up a bit more money, as you really do get what you pay for. I often frequent maxbashing.com and they are a very helpful, knowledgable bunch of lads. Might be worth a try at posting a thread on there with your requirments.

DOnt get one of the ebay no name ones, you will snap something and not be able to get spares. I have a couple of reasonable battery cars and buggies, have snapped loads of bits over the years.

Have a look for a HPI nitro evo rush, you can get them for £170 new from a model shop, they are classed as stadium trucks but are good fun and solid.

One problem with buying 2nd hand is how the previous owner tretaed the engine, they are the most expensive bit of the car.
