    Have amassed some new bits to go on...... (56k)

    Been busy over the last 2 weeks and my wallet it quite a bit lighter now

    Decided to refresh my 1995 Nissan 200SX (which has done 149,000)1 miles with a few newer bits. Bought a crashed 1998 200sx with only 34,000 miles

    Complete interior, various mechanical bits.


    Engine - looks very fresh and clean, sounded great when i started her.


    Rear subframe intact, complete with brakes, diff, diff oil cooler, driveshafts and half the propshaft.


    So - looks like i have a hell of a project on guys.

    Got a new clutch, new sparkplugs, new engine oil to go on. Will be ordering NISMO engine and gearbox mounts, some good quality gearbox and diff oil, a short shifter kit, and any other little bits and bobs i need

    Then gotta get the spanners back out and fit it all on the car.

    I've got 2 lying around only problem is which one to fit? I'll probably fit the shinyest one.

    I was wondering when someone would drag that up

    Thats typical spontanious unpredictable me really - worrying about how my one 200sx is costing me....... so go buy another one and worry about that later!

    Heres my new sparkplugs ready to go on:


    And heres my new clutch ready to go on - apparently very happy to be drag launched with 350lb/ft of torque. Bring on santa pod.....shad!




    So - once that lot is in - she's gonna be even faster and more powerful, and use even more optimax! *sigh*

    Maybe the crapper deisil for work idea is a good idea after all.
