    Mini's are nice Nick, but if you looking for something less cramped than your metro... then they aint for you. Defintely unique though!

    Possible things to look at:

    - 205 1.6 gti... bit old, hard to find decent one.. insurance is high too
    - 106 rallye mk1... cracking little cars, handle better than my vtr, and their faster too
    - fiesta 1.25 zetec.. very nippy for such a small engine
    - saxo vtr, well, I chose this out of the bunch ... not as raw as the rallye... but far more comfort, leccy windows etc.
    - clio 1.4RT .. + r5 turbo donor car :E .. ok maybe not

    aaarrgghh...corsa = vauxhal sh*te ! next thing we know, you'll be recommendin a nova mate
    mini's are great fun to drive. i had a blat in my mates around the common, ahem, i mean private roads... and it was the most fun i ever had outside me bedroom they are fast as hell and so easy to chuck around and get sideways round corners etc... go with the mini mate.

    if war is the answer, then we are asking the wrong question

    I quite like the new Corsa Sxi (1.2??), and as for them being shocking - thats personal opinion. I do my lessons in them and although i havn't had chance to drive any other cars i think they r fun! (If it wasn't a 1.0l )

    THERES ONLY ONE CAR FOR YOU MATEY

    Peugeot 306

    Ive said it before and I'll say it again....and again

    1.4 is slow though. (Group for for most though

    Mark 1 went like this;

    XN- Bog standard.....nothing at all except and engine and sometimes a horrid pop up roof

    XL- Normally electric Windows...some times a sun roof

    XR- ELec windows and mirrors and usually a roof.....

    XT- Poshest..velour, etc

    then theres the ULTIMATE Group 4 Monster....

    1.9 DTurbo ......sprts seats and suspension, front fogs.....40miles per gallon when you kick the hell outta it, over 50 on a run

    1.6 XS.....nearly the same but Petrol, so only 30 mpg

    dont go higher engine....to much insurance

    1.4 = 60 bhp......slow but ACE on fuel
    1.6 = 90 bhp.....pick of the bunch in petrol models
    1.8 forget it
    1.9 Diesel......ok....70 bhp I think......not great..just OK
    1.9 Turbo Diesel.....90 bhp......turbo lag then....WHOOSH

    and GROUP 4

    Next series 2.....

    L- standard but way better that Mk 1
    LX- Lots of electrics
    GLX- Vel;our, luxury electrics
    D Turbo.........whoooosh

    Go find matey

    (and to DREAM about: 306 GTi-6....168 bhp 2.0 16v 6 speed....and the Rallye version.....no electric equipment, thin carpet, no air con or sunroof.....just lightweight HEAVEN )
