Best Motoring vids generally rule in my experience....but a 350Z taking an M3? Yeah right.
The bonus footage of the AE86 is though
Excellent stuff, anyone know where thats available for download?.
So is the 350Z- that's my point.
Its not just power/weight you know
"In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."
Nope, its the fact that its a japanese film and they wanted the 350Z to win
Wouldnt have won if it didnt have that GTR following it and holding the others back
"Man this engine power difference sucks!" - man in Boxster.
"The interior this car is fabulous!" - man in Boxster.
LOL.
Love these sort of videos. Top stuff.
Or the fact that towards the end the Beemer couldn't keep up as its tyres weren't up to it due to the huge weight they carryOriginally Posted by BenW

Right, for goodness sake, the M3 is lighter.
It could have been on crappier tyres though.
I agree - I thought the M3 would piss on the rest of them, but:
a) the driver held back at the start
b) the Skyline held up the cars behind it whilst fauning over the 350Z
c) the M3 seemed to be on crappy tyres (as mentioned in the vid)
The M3 looked to be oversteering to me! Check out the internal bits, everytime he comes out a bend the back end is breaking away...
I'd say it had oversteer in some places, understeer in others
M3 set the fastest lap though.
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
Theres a difference between inherrant oversteer, and power on oversteer. Any car with rear wheel drive and 300+bhp is gonna go broadsize if you slam on the gas. It seemed to be understeering - but then when you pile on the gas the back end broke out. Not a well balanced car on that track with those tyres anyway.Originally Posted by Lowe
