Guys let's not turn this into a slanging match, keep it clean. This thread is about Honoop's accident.

    Hi everyone...

Thanks to jon & shelley bda, Skii, Caged and everyone else for their posts and well wishes. Much appreciated - especially since Im feeling pretty rubbish at the moment.

For those of you bickering about insurance fraud...
I have been firstly to the hospital and then to my doctor on Monday - I have had a severe headache since the accident and have been signed off for a week due to whiplash. Thankfully my neck has free'd up alot but Im still not 100% and deffo not myself.
But just so you all know, I am a girlie - not that it makes any difference, but anyway, anyone who knows me will tell you that I am an honest person and would not take advantage of a situation like this.

As it stands the guy who ran into the back of me seems to have a bit of legal clout at the moment and my insurance company seem to have decided its my fault without having all the facts. Which I find rather distressing and upsetting.

Everyone keeps telling me that at the end of the day its only a car and its more important that no one was seriously hurt. And while I do agree with this statement its really guttening when you go and see something that is your pride and joy in a very poorly way.

Anyway, thanks again to everyone for your wishes. I know that any comments about insurance fraud were not personally aimed at me - but just think before you type eh boys? The poor insurance woman got a barrage of sobs and tears earlier - you lot are lucky posts dont show emotions.

Yeah, and you should. If you couldn't see him before you pulled out then it's clearly his fault, especially if you were fully pulled out by the time he hit you. Clearly, he couldn't stop within the distance he could see.

I've just realised - I thought John bda was the person who was hit. I got completely the wrong end of the stick and as a result have made comments that are completely unjustified. Apologies all round.

Hope you get better quickly Honoop

Just heard from the bodyshop - she's a total loss!

Not suprised but still gutted - spent a fortune on that car this summer... hey ho, it was fun while it lasted!

Gonna have to fight blame and see what lame sums of money the insurance company come up with for value now - methinks this is gonna go on for some time. Should be fun.... kinda!
