Now should I do my usual Audi Plug here or try something differant.
The Newer golfs are very nice car's, I don't know what your budget is but I belive the Mk 4 GTis are now pretty cheap.
There, I sort of half did it

She was looking at an 1100 pound renault with known issues. I think that an mk4 GTi is slightly out of her budget...
I hear 5 year old 911s are quite cheap, compared to a brand new murcielago anyway...

Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
It was either Mk 4 or 3, the ones knocking around on K plates now.

That'll be 3. They might be alright pricewise. The current ones are MK5, so MK4s are a bit too recent, especially a GTi.
I'll put a smiley into my previous post to make it sound less harsh

Yeah sorry for the mix up, for some reason I thought the last ones were 5's and the current ones were 6's, doh.
But the Mk 3 golf, if a little heavy was a nice car, and the GTi didn't move bad for it's size.

Jokes aside, hope you find something soon, i'd hate looking around not knowing what and what not to buy
LOL you lot crack me up!
shelley - thanks for the offer! Luckily my boyf has been lending me his car or running me around since I had my accident. We dont need the kids, got two 'part-time' - we might consider the dog tho!
As for Golfs Id love another but I dont think any apart from a newer one would compare to my baby cabrio who is now sadly departed.
Im really looking for a run-around which will last me a couple of years, if I can get a sporty-ish one that wont render me bankrupt since I now have an accident on my record then I'll take it. Thats why I was looking at the Renault Coup - they are actually really cheap to insure!
Will let you all know when I find something.
