The K-Series is a great engine. Anyway, I'll try and think of some more later.

Exige has always used the Toyota 1.8 lump in 189 and 240bhp flava has it not?

/edit just noticed the series 1 had k series too. Didnt realise that! That explains why i did one in a straight line (but not round the corners lol)

The 6R4 is one of the cars on the List I have to drive before I die. It's a car I see as being an amazingly well made machine, Metro Body, V6 Engine (It was the Rover 3.5 V8 with 2 Cylinders cut off) and a plastic Shell. Bloody nice, 0-60 in 2.5 Seconds for Competition spec cars.

Made by Williams...what do you expect! . As for the 'Metro' body...i think they shared less than a dozen parts inc doorhandles and stuff...

Not for Group B i don't think. I reckon that a lot of the manufacturers just wanted a car recognisable as theirs...didn't stop Ford using the roof and window glass off a Sierra for the RS200 though...

Why would who makes the engine have an effect on the straight line performance?
The K series based Exige still had 177 BHP

I just remember about the only bit of Escrot cosworth that was from the Escort was the roof.
