I aks because i got to change the oil on the 125 4 stroke bike and in the manual it says to use either of them 2.....
So if i was to use one of them does the brand make a difference ?

The numbers are the viscosity of the oil when it's cold and when it's hot- they are 'multigrade' oils which have special ingredients in them to keep them thick when they get hot. Of the two the 10w/40 is likely to be the better oil.
If it's just for a fairly basic engine like a CG125/GS125/scooter etc. then any decent semi-synthetic bike oil should be fine. Do use a specific motorcycle oil though as some car oils have friction reducers in them which can make the clutch slip on a bike (cars use seperate gearbox oil, bikes generally don't). I'm pretty sure Halfords sell 10w/40 semi-synth bike oil for a very reasonable amount (like maybe £12 for 4 litres).
Cheers dood, and yeah it's a basic 4 stroke Scooter/Bike
