I broke two laws of load carrying.

1) I didn't tie the load down (the hatchback's got no bloomin eyelets in the boot tho, stupid thing)

2) I didn't put a container with liquid in a 2nd plastic container

Proliant slid across the boot and burst a 5L bottle of 10W40, which promptly ran down the floor of the car soaking pretty much everything. The biggest puddles where sitting around where the exhaust runs, so on my 5 hour return journey (3 diversions, one of which didn't have diversion signs and many many queues) I had a nice mix of air and oil vapours to breathe.
