Unhappy What is wrong with my car

I s there a man out there who can tell me what is wrong with my car?
It is a Ford KA and it Vrooms when I am driving . It does not happen when it is cold but when the car is hot or in hot weather it revs. When I am changing gear or slowing down at traffic lights. When it gets really warm I can take my foot off the excelerator and the car seems to supply itself with petrol. I have taken it to a garage and the mechanic said he had cleaned an 'injection valave' this means nothing to me and now I feel silly taking it back and starting the whole embarasing process of trying to explain what hapens all over again. So if anyone has any ideas I would be really grateful.

Heh true, but i thought it was courtesy to at least introduce yourself, before asking for help, and you'd of thought they'd at least choose a suitable area, computer forum isn't exactly the place i'd go to for advice on me car call me cynical but i bet his post count doesn't get off zero

ours did that. Turned out to be the air flow sensor breaking. Thought it was getting more air than it was so it supplied more petrol, which sucked more air in, which made it suck more petrol.. you get the picture.

    Harsh!

Sounds like the throttle cable is sticking.

If your any where near cardiff then I'll have a looksy. If not then i hope someone can diagnose the problem.

Get the throttle position sensor checked out too, it's a known problem on earlier Kas that can cause flair.
