Why I love My Astra

what model astra is it?
I had a Mk4 2003 model for a year and one hour before it got written off by a driver driving on the wrong side of the road
saved my life but very very strong car indeed
no issues whatsoever and i think it only went in once and that was the service!

oh to add to my post, my mums mk4 astra (2000) was also a reliable runner, only went in for its brakes change (she forgot about her service for 2 years)
we only realised the service after noticing some white stuff in the oil cap and that meant the head gasket
checked and water/oil mixed
but to think it still ran fine ... filled her up with oil (about time i think?)
in the end we traded it in for a honda.... crv not jazz :>
