    Ouch, nasty. You would of thought they would of done some sort of testing themselves before manufacturing them.

    That is shocking... Why WOULD anyone buy these cars when you can buy a Corsa or a Focus for not a lot more, and get a much better car?

    And the Lacetti is what they use on Top Gear IIRC

    don't think yank cars do too well generally - think it's the chrylser grand voyager whose steering column reaches all the way to the front of the crumple zone - causing it to push back & chop the driver in two in a head-on collision
