Sods law, after whinging about cars with failed headlamps, I noticed one of mine had gone upon arrival at work this morning. I went out a little later to get a replacement pair (I always have a single spare in the car) I did a little reading for performance bulbs. I happened across http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product..._per_cent.html and luckily my local Halfrauds are doing their +50% range on BOGOF. £15 a pair then

We then replaced the bulb with each sample, just like drivers do, without realignment.

the other was misaligned, resulting in poor lighting and too much glare.

I still think the crappy ‘blue effect’ bulbs should be banned though.
