Im not going to mess around here, so its coming straight at you all.
Of late there have been a number of totally pointless threads that are just a complete waste of time. We need you to please only post things that are actually of value, and where possible please post singular threads and not start a thread for every concievable possibility.
Basically I need you to engage brain before fingers, we don't need you to post stuff just because you are bored, we don't need stupid things posted where you can easily find out the answers with a bit of effort. We want this to be a quality forum and not one where people have to trawl rubbish just to get to decent threads.
You are all very quick to jump on spammers on this board when they post something for thier own gain so please put the shoe on the other foot, if you can find out the answer or if you are just posting because you are bored then please do not do it on HEXUS.net, we are a quality website and we have a quality community, but you all need to make sure you maintain your highstanding.
In addition to this I also want to have a big effort from you all to make sure that when posting a thread you make the subject relevant, things like exclamation marks and 'lol' and 'ahem' are not subject lines that in anyway have a place here, lets get some quality back in to it all.
I am not picking on individuals here, on the whole we are pretty good at making this a quality place, but if things do not improve soon then the admins will take a much stronger stance and will also dish out warnings to people who are consisitently spamming the forums with junnk threads and posts.
Please do not hijack threads, make snide or stupid remarks in otherwise great threads, lets all be a part of this and work together to make HEXUs a good place to be.
We, at HEXUS.net are working tirelessly to make the main site an excellent, quality online publication but it requires you to do the same for the community.
Work with us, and work on the quality and then we can work on bringing more stuff you way in the future.
Many thanks,
Matt.
