    Static - 800D

    On the sidepanel there is a build up of static electricity on the window, is there a reason for this? Is there any potential danger to components.

    PC spec:

    I can only imagine that the static was created as you removed the protective film from the perspex window!?

    I suggest just grounding the window using rubbing your hand over it and see if it builds up agian.

    Dont see how or what else would cause this.

    I'm sorry but I missed it as this thread is well over a year old. Plexiglass, lexan, etc attract static electricity. It's no danger unless you don't use proper safety precautions when working inside your case.
