    Corsair HX450w EOL?

Just read on the ebuyer forum that the Corsair HX450w was discontinued it in November 2009.
    Is this correct?

    Re: Corsair HX450w EOL?

Any news on a replacement Yellowbeard ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Yes I want to know that too.
It was a great unit that should serve the majority of poeple.
Enough power for a quad core, a couple of hard drives and a single mid range gpu

We are not making anything smaller than a 650w modular. At the wattage, the VX450 is the best alternative.

    Re: Corsair HX450w EOL?

Well thanks for the fast reply yellowbeard, even if it is bad news.

Can I ask why that decision was made?
Where they not selling well enough?
    Too expensive to make?
Too many USER moement? (e.g. people getting cables with extra connectors so plugging too much stuff in.)
    Issues sourceing quality units?
