    Corsair HX850 question

    Hi,
Ive recently quietened my pc down with slower fans etc, now the loudest thing in my pc is the hx850.
Iam pretty sure when a bought it a few months ago the fan hardly spun much.

Now its spinning at least 1000-1200rpm is this normal or am i expecting too much from it
The psu is faultless otherwise, just from what i read before getting it that they were practically silent.

    Hi Troop,

Is the system case running hotter because your slower fans extract less hot air and the PSU fan is compensating?

Alternatively the new fans may be causing some turbulence that reduces the extract airflow with the same PSU fan reaction.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: Corsair HX850 question

No the temps are the same, plus the hx850 actually gets air from outside with my lian li case.
    Thanks for the reply.
