LCD Display out of a ti-82 calculator?

Is this possible? how would i do this?

thats the ti-82 (i have one and i dont have any use for it) so ya, could i possibly make an lcd out of it that says like Hi, or welcome, or good bye? i dont need temp readings or anything fancy, im just board

could i also use a cd player lcd? i dunno if i should take apart my calculator, seeing as i might need it for school next year, but ill probly just get a ti-83 plus

couldi use like digital clock lcds too? i cant afford a ps1 lcd

Biggest problem is that they aren't lit, so it would be very hard to see. If I were you I'd save up for a PS1 LCD

    OK! HERES MY TWO SENSE!

You cant just use an lcd it need to be controld by an IC chip..

Second if you want to use that alarm clock why not just get a 120V togle switch ant cut the wier from the alarm clock and run it to the togle, then to the outlet!

you can then mount the togle to the case! See! very easy!

You can get a gameboy screen to work with a pc, ive seen it done and il try and dig up a link for you. A gameboy colour screen on the other hand ive never seen done.
Btw myth, not trying to be a spelling nazi and everything but can you please try to use punctuation instead of starting a new paragraph? And please try to at least spell correctly.

A game boy colour screen will take alot more work because it is a colour screen and not a monochrome one. You would have to tell each pixel what colour instead of just on or off.

It might have the display but the controller might be built into the pcb of the phone. No lcd will work without the controller
