Flexible PCIe riser. The longest single riser you can get is usually ~ 4" (11cm), and I think if I positioned the board and GXF card carefully that would *just* about be long enough, but ideally I'd have something > 15cm in length to give me some flexibility in positioning (or a combination of multiple risers to have the same effect, of course ).

I'd love to have the time and money to make something like this, but frankly I'd probably need a trusting customer who'd commission the build and pay up front to make it viable. And building PCs is no way to make money...

    Re: Small gaming rig concept

The Alienware has an external PSU by the ways guys (making even more hideous!) so don't try and cram the PSU into it as well.

Is it possible to get a very short duct between the GPU fan intake and the case's side panel? If you can (it'll almost be a rubber gasket in thickness sandwitched between the GPU and the panel?) you could draw cool/ambient air directly from outside.

That might help keep it cool.

I'd been toying with this for ages. If you could then mount this tiny PC to the back on a monitor, you've got a kick-ass Gaming Laptop replacement!!!
