Should i take off my case door?

see the red circle, thats where a problem might be if i were to try to take out the door.



thats the cord that has all my hard drive and power LED's. If i want to take out the door, ill have no more of the leds and stuff, but also i dunno if i can fit it through the hole after removing the front panel.

I wanna take it off so i can have a big knobed rheobus (like a vantec nexus) or something so i dont have to spend 20+ dollars for a lcd digital bus (not that i dont want to hehe) I could always just leave my door open and get the big knobbed rheobus's but im sure the door would get in the way of something, so id like to be able to close it.

should i take it off or not?

What motherboard you got? Tried downloading speedfan? IIRC some boards these days can be used to adjust the speed of the fans that are plugged into them.

well even if i get that, only my cpu fan is connected to my mobo, the rest are connected to the psu (plus only my 120mm fan can plug into my mobo and i dont wanna buy any adapters)

i have an abit nf7-s v2

am i not able to get an avatar yet? because i go into my user cp and under edit avatar all there is to do there is reset fields and theres no "upload avatar or anything"

Its ugly so remove it just kidding, the vantec nexus's knobs are very short actually, fitted behind my antec 1080 door perfect (cheiftec dragon is duisgise)

how much clearance have you got to the door

i have .5 cm, but ill just recess it because theres a fan controller thats the same exact thing as the vantec nexus 201 (15 to 18 w is good right?) and its only 7 bucks so ya, ill just recess it a bit

i kinda want a 3.5 bay one to fill up my floppy but ya are they better? it costs 18

dtek custom's painted heatercores are the same color as my case and i asked them what they used and they said its a custom car paint tHING that they dont sell
