advice on spraying a shuttle

hi i can't for the life of me find a black front poanel for my SN41g2 shuttle! i have brought a modded black shell and the siver front panel looks daft! so i'm thinking about spraying it black! any advice or pros and cons of doing this and what will i need to spray onto alu!

Its just the same technique for spraying on anything. Get some sandpaper in different grits , some primer/paint/clear coat from halfords and away you go. Prepare your surface between coats to reduce any bumps

www.gemma.co.uk have informed me that they will be selling full black panels for the sn41g2 from next week! this is top news! i just need to spray the silver fram i guess that will not be covered by the shell or the front panel

If like any of the G1 face plates, it will likely come with the black 'bezel' so you won't need to worry about it.
