    Limitation with Thermaltake Tsunami case?

I have read many good reviews about the Thermaltake Tsunami case and have been thinking about buying one.

I was wondering if anyone had any experiance with using a typical drive mounted fan controller with this case. Its hard to see from pictures on the web, but is there clearance between the drive bay and the front door so that one can be installed and you can still close the front door if you want too?

I guess an alternative solution could be to use a controller which is pretty much flush with the drive bay such as the HardCanu 13 device, but I think some of the others look cooler.

    Thanks.

If you're worried splash a bit of cash & get a matrix orbial. Much coolness & flushness.

Just measured mine, there is less than 1cm at the door's narrowest point, imo not enough room for a fan controller.

I am using the PSU to control fans (antec PSU got special outlet), PC is now lovely and quiet, Except..

Hard Drive mountings suck, got rubber gromets to absorb vibrations but sometimes you can hear the whole case vibrate, probably due to 2x10,000rpm raptors.

I also took the time to spray the inside of case before building, looks da business

I'd be less inclined to use the PSU to control my fans as my PSU temperatures are not neccessarily what my case temperatures are, if u know what i mean.

I'm eager to find a solution for this problem as at present i have to mount my fan controller recessed so my case door can shut [cm atc111]

I have found a couple of fan controllers or multi function devices with fan controllers in them that appear to be pretty flush with the drive bay.

Has anyone had any experiance with:

    Aerocool CoolPanel

    or

    Thermaltake HardCano 13

Could also use a LCD screen like the Matrix as OiD says, but they are twice the price.

Possibly even a CoolerMaster Aerogate II but that may protrude a bit too far out, its hard to see in the photos.

Its not a full bay size as far as i can tell (its just the front and a bit on the side to attatch it) so is there a way of mounting in a little further in?it would still look fine.

I mount mine further inside the case, as there is not enough clearence with the door shut

I never alter the fan speeds though, so I just have mine mounted in the drive bay, and then have one of the bay covers in place in front of it. That way the case still looks sweet as and my fans are wubly and quiet

My Coolermaster Aerogate II fits fine, except for the fact that it doesn't work well with the drvie rails, so I had to resort to good old blu tack
