    hmm if your case is on the floor you cud conside mounting on the to top of the case it may be a bit more complicated but it would be a whole lot more practical

    if you're considering a mount point other than cnocealed in a drive or on the front what about sticking a larger screen (eg old laptop with bust motherboard but working screen probably very cheap?) into a side-panel? Might need a bit more cooling but it could work?

    urg.....

    using a laptop screen requires a controller card or a graphics card specificaly designed to drive a LCD directly, the LCDs themselves are dumb devices, they just have a bunch of horizontal and vertical dot pitch wires going to them IIRC

    oh and, before you ask, for a controller card or a special graphics card you are talking >£100
