Original iMac

Im thinking of building a PC in an Original imac as my school is jammed full of them. Has anyone had any experience with them? This is my first mod. Im gunna go look at small componants new, on board graphics i think. Mabe a shuttle PSU.

This ok for the PSU? http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1761.html I hear that shullte PSUs have low watt rating but give good power? and my system would not be hig powered.

depends what you want it for. there's some cool mods on www.mini-itx.com - or you could use a pentium-m for low power.

how much space have you got to play with?

Hmmm, 15" screns cost alot, just £50 more for a 19" TFT, mabe this is a waste of time/money. I know, A SERVER!, hmmmmmmmmm mabe a different mod for a server, just that i can get my hands on an i mac, hmmmm

After thinking about it, i dont need another desktop. But i could do with a Server. Would one of these be good enough for a server? I dont yet know the spec. Or, i could strip it and build an el cheapo server. or mabe i should look else ware for a nice server mod (u can tell im in the very early planing and ideas stage)

EDIT: On the mac theme i could try and get an empty G4 case.
