    Wireless headset problem

Got a wireless headset come through the post today, but it had no instructions. I've got no idea how it works. I've charged it up, turned on 360, then what? Noise is still coming through speakers.

I think you've got to link it to your 360 much like how you link wireless controllers.

There should be a button on it somewhere.

Tried that, all the lights flash and then nothing happens. Been seeking out an online manual, but can't seem to find one.

I think I threw my instructions out.

If I remember correctly, switch on the 360 and the headset then press the sync button on both (the lights on the headset should cycle until it finds the first open headset space (i.e. if you've got a wired headset in pad 1 then the w/l one will set itself to pad 2).

If it's any help Hard OCP did a review a few months ago and went into a lot more detail on setting it up.

have you changed the option in the Guide button>Personal Settings>Voice from speaker to either headset or both?

Excellent, thanks a lot, it's working now. It was the whole synch thing that I wasn't doing right.

How are you finding it? I love mine. So much better than the wired one.

I bought one because I was fed up of my little niece pulling the plug out of the back of the joypad while I was trying to play. The quality on them is top notch. I'm tempted to get one for the PC later on.

I myself have just grabbed an adapter so I can plug in my nice pair of Sennheisers. Planning on getting a 5.1 headset like the medusas (heard they're very good) for my PC and was wondering what I could do with my current headset.

Although I really like wireless, I think having a really good headset is more important, I've never got on well with those tiny headsets where the mic doesn't even reach your cheek.

So far as I know, you can use this wireless headset with the PC crossfire widget that lets you use 360 wireless stuff with the P.C.

I've not tried it yet, but I can give it a go later on, or maybe someone else can confirm if it can.

It would maybe save yourself a couple of bob anyway!
