I thought most reviews were around the 7-8 out of 10 and fairly positive. Definitley praising over similar 3D efforts which of late have been pretty poor.

Call me a Sonic fanboy, but I didn't think that the 360 version was that terrible. Bad loading times and horrendous glitches have come to be expected from playing the past 3D Sonic outings, so maybe that lessened the blow for me?

I will agree, though; the Wii game is awesome. The beginning of the game is filled with about 10 really short practice levels and you'll panic that the game's going to be crap, but once you get into the storyline properly it achieves something that none of the 3D Sonic games since Sonic Adventure has managed to achieve; it is actually fun to play.

So true and the game is actually fun too.

I wish for Gran Turismo 4 they put "its ok but it can very boring very quickly if you played the rest"!!!
