    Ebuyer wasn't that bad

I heard a lot of bad stuff about RMA-ing stuff with Ebuyer. I just did it 3 days ago and It was quick and easy.

RMA Request Opened - 18 Nov
Package Sent - 21 Nov (Can't be arsed to send the package on a Saturday)
Package Received - 24 Nov 10:57 (Time for email reception, more like they got it earlier but processed later)
    Product tested/found faulty - 24 Nov 10:59
Replacement ordered, but no stock - 24 Nov 11:03
Order dispatched - 24 Nov 19:28 (stock just arrived?)
Expected delivery date - 25 Nov

4 days turnaround wasn't bad at all. Now just let me try and claim the return postage.

My first problem with them was a few years ago now and was minor but annoying (the old chestnut of ordering a mouse that was in stock, selecting super saver delivery and then being told two weeks later that it has gone out of stock).

But recently they seem to be much improved, I had some faulty memory and the whole process of sending it back and getting a refund took about two weeks. A real live human being even called my house to confirm it all, now that is a novelty these days, all in all a thumbs up from me

I'd still feel better if I lived close to their trade counter after that experience with Aria I had, but the choice of computer shops locally is 1 now - PC World

There was a lot of moaning about ebuyer 2 or 3 years ago, but recently I haven't heard of a single problem.

I've just RMA'd some RAM under DSR. No problems, so far - I've just posted it back to them today. I've RMA'd stuff in the past without any problems.

Deliveries are on time. Stuff arrives well packaged. Prices are good.

I had no luck with them at all. For my first order I had missing delivery and my case wasn't delivered.(They refund me for that later though - after 1 month to be precise)For my second order graphic card I ordered arrived DOA and they refused to refund the postage for some reason, how nice

I've always found Ebuyer to be fine. RMAs have always been dealt with quickly and without fuss and the couple of occasions when I've reported missing items, they've sent them out immediately with no questions asked.

heh i do that too! got to the point where i'd pick the most expensive/quickest delivery, if citylink delivery then meh no problem, if they dont, straight onto ebuyer for a discount, err i mean delivery refund

My recent experience was good, I called but hung up due to a queue. Got a call back from a lady saying I'd called that number and hung up

They lost my copy of windows vista they sent it normal mail and i never received it one month later almost.

( have to wait 15 days and ofc it had to not include the holidays - damn royal mail )

In the end I brought another copy elsewhere.

Still seeing if i will get a refund or not, i've given up on them.
