PS3 on SALE in Tesco!

Just been to Brookfield Tesco and they have the PS3 physically there with games and accessories selling away. Thought they couldn't do that and release things a day early. Wish I had my Clubcard vouchers on me would have picked up Motorstorm and an extra pad there and then.

Currys actually is looking like a good place to get one on launch day also, we have about 20 in stock, 9 pre-orders, the rest stock. Few games, one HDMI cable, one pad.

Shame I dont have £420 spare (staff discount takes it to about that).

Glad to see Sony can supply enough units though, the Nintendo Wii is still pretty rare in our Currys branch.

This happened in Italy as well, apparantly the move was sparked because they didn't think they'd shift the stock. The retailer sold them a day early to have the "monopoly" on the PS3 sales juat for that day in an attempt to sell them.

Doubt it as I highly doubt sony has got a contract with every reseller over the launch.

Frankly sony need every sale they can get at the moment, so going after those selling it early is suicide.
