Looks like a decent update, adds a new blade especially for the Marketplace and Live Messenger functionality.

Wow very niiiice! I'm looking forward to this update, they're definitely heading in the right direction making the adjustments people have been wanting for awhile.

Still looks like you can't categorize your friends though. Bah.

That's pretty awesome. If they added full mouse support along with their keyboard support it'd be sweet to see fuller featured apps popping up for the 360, like a web browser, more complete MSN client and the like.

I know it's a games console, but some people would probably ditch a secondary PC in favour of one if such was possible. It would increase the target audience too, where else could you get basic HTPC that plays all the latest games for under £300?

There are even a few new ways to download those items. The Xbox Live Arcade Auto Downloads option has been expanded so that players can choose to download all of the Live Arcade game demos past and present to catch up on any they might have missed. And for those gamers reluctant to leave their systems on all night downloading demos and the like, Microsoft is expanding the system's background downloading functionality to run in low-power mode while the system is turned off, and to turn itself completely off when the downloads are finished.
    Nice.

And along came a keyboard attachment.

The keyboard add-on that plugs into the controller looks pretty sweet.

The Spring and Fall updates are in a strange way one of my favourite things about the 360. I picked up the console at launch and thought it was great on day one, yet somehow they find ways to make it even better twice a year by adding a whole bunch of handy little things.

I love that they're adjusting the achievement pop-up. Each time I get an achievement I quickly hit the guide button to bring up the dash and see what I got, now I'll know straight away.

The Live Messenger integration is a big bonus for me too, my PC and 360 are on different floors so it'll save me a flight of stairs to run up from time to time.

    May 7th - Spring Update
    May 16th - Halo 3 Beta begins
    May 18th/25th - Forza 2

    Looking good for May!

That alone was what made me buy my 360.

Loved Forza 1, and after seeing the video of the customization on the 360Z at work, I bit the bullet and bought a 360.

Can't wait for the updates either, aslong as it doesn't automatically sign you in MSN when you are on Live, could get a tad annoying when 8 people want to talk to you when your on a hot lap on PGR3, or in the midst of a fire-fight on GRAW.
