    Your best achievements

I've been read a few posts by some people of achievements they're really proud of, and I just got one today, so I thought I'd create a thread for everyone to share some achievements they've got that they think of more than others.

For my one I got today, if any of you have played me on GoW, you know how much I suck at the game, usually I'm great at shooters, but I found it hard to get to grips with the game when playing multiplayer. But today I finally managed to get the "Don't hate the player" achievement, it's only worth 10 points, but I finally managed to do awesome in a game, was really in my groove and managed to no only beat everyone, but beat them but quite a bit My team lost however, but oh well, it was 3 of us v 4

The other day I almost got the 1million point achievement on Geometry Wars, but I was just 50k off Usually I don't break 400k, but I had a blazing game and managed to get loads of points, damn shame I didn't hit that 1 mil mark though.

Not really got any others than that, maybe completing 72 hour mode on Dead Rising the first time, I very rarely made it past day one, I should pick that game up again I think, still got half the achievements to get

So, what achievements have you guys got to brag about?

Six Sixes in an Over on Brian Lara is something I probably wouldn't manage to do again. It's not really that difficult, but it's very time consuming since you've got to get the timing spot on and the computer has a tendency to bowl you 5 identical balls then throw something completely different on the 6th that catches you off guard.. I've only managed to do it the once in about 15 hours of playing.

Beating the final boss on dead or alive 4 ought to be an achievement due to how hard it is! My best achievement though would be at one stage being in the top twenty on the xbox live leaderboards for full auto back when nobody used to play it, if that counts

I don't have any outstanding achievements (yet) but this thread should get a sticky so that people can add to it all the time without having to search for the thread.

Just completed Oblivion, it's only taken me a year to get all 1000 pts (and of course they had to go and add another 250 for the expansion pack to spoil it all)

I have two! My first one was on Project Gotham Racing 3, getting the Platinum Champion Award. That achievement took me months and months to get. I'd even stopped playing the game for a few months, then picked it up again in attempt to conquer that achievement. So so satisfying when I got it.

The second would be on Crackdown, collecting all 500 Agility Orbs. Seeing that last Agility Orb glowing in the corner of my eye was like having Christmas come early!

I would say that one, be seeing as for 25 of those 50 hours it was just the console left on with VP on, it's not really that much of an achievement for me.

Gone back to dead rising again and managed to complete the game on overtime mode without being captured by the special forces. Was really easy once I got my hands on the real mega buster, but starting with no weapons was a real pain in the ass.

For me it was surviving 60 seconds in Geometory Wars without firing a single shot...

I must of tried it a stupid amount of times! When I finally got it I screamed "YEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!"... Which inevitably woke up my entire family as it was 3 O'clock in the morning...

Oh man, don't get me started on Geo Wars. I tried and tried and tried and tried and then tried some more to get that 1,000,000 point achievement. No can do.

I was soooo damn close! Argh that was so annoying, had an awesome game going, only had 50k to go.

In other news I just got my last hidden orb! Really chuffed with that one. I had two left to get, one I found accidentally when trying to chase my mate down XD The other one I got because of the update, so I could hear it pulsing from street level.

Only thing I'm good at is coming first on CoD 1 & CoD 2 online.

Not all the time, I ain't that good, but I can't be too bad cos I often win.

I got loads of screen captures, just don't ask me to post 'em all

    Good idea for a thread.

i don't play a lot, but finally managing to complete DoA4 story for every character inc helena made me quite happy... although i despise the AI on that game... oh no another unstoppable 15hit combo removing all my life... or countering every move i do. gets frustrating.

Yep, its actually so bad I have stopped playing the game as a result. Ought to sell it really. The move system is terrible as well based on the dead or alive 3 model as opposed to the dead or alive 2 model. Dead or alive ultimate is still by far the best game in the series. The ai is sensible and rarely pull of stupidly long combo's that finish you off about 3 seconds into a match.
