I've heard good things about this really, but it just doesnt appeal to me tbh. I may just need to give it a go or wait for it to come down, but I prefer my 'proper' footy games, so might give it a miss. However, I'm glad to hear that the online part of the game works well - apart from the stupid friends codes - as that bodes well for other games which will utilize the same network code.

For me, I'm waiting for RE4 and umbrella chronicles. Bought RE4 for GC and just started it when they announced this. Cant wait, as I hear that its an amazoing game... but thats it for me at the moment.

I picked it up yesterday. Realy is a good laugh for multiplayer. not done any singleplayer stuff yet gonna try out teh wifi stuff today you when I get soem spare time. So far a good competative laugh.

Played it yesterday and its a laugh. The wiimote features are a bit of an afterthought, shaking to tackle, distract during super shots and saving supershots. Would definately be at it's best with 4 players.

Destructoid ppl are sRead a load of comments on another site slagging off the fact that you cant play against ppl from other regions.

I dont see what the problem ios with that really. PErsonally I will prolly pick it up at some point this week as It looks like it could be a lot of fun

Mate of mine got it friday and is very impressed with it, look forward to playing it at some point tbh. Are you sure it doesn't allow you to play against people of other regions? The chap I know thats got it said he'd been rucking with yanks on it all afternoon yesterday?

I've played online I'll set up another thread so we can all put our Mariostrikers friend code in and play friendlies against eachother.

It's pretty quick to find a game online in the ranked bit best of 3 matches 3 minute timelimit. I've ahd soem good 1v1 and 2v2 online, is a laugh.

Just got home with it...man that was long!

I think i've been to every single shop in the whole of Stafford that sells Wii stuff - finding the game wasn't a problem (most places had it) but finding a second nunchuck so I could play multiplayer with my housemates was a right pain.

Game, Gamestation, tesco, asda, sainsburys, wollies, argos, couple of indie stores, the co-op department store..everywhere. In the end it was PC-World that had ONE left, and I got student discount on it so it worked out for the best really

About to give it a try now anyway, will post my friend code in the other thread shortly
