well I played Guitar Hero 2 between 4 of us the other night and it was bloody brilliant fun.
There aren't an awful lot of true party games for the 360, Fuzion Frenzy is about the only one that comes to mind.

The 360 doesn't really have a lot of party games, it's mainly a console for one person playing online with others, or two people. There are a few 4 player games but not a lot.
Halo 3 will have 4 player split screen, which I'm sure will be fun. Perfect Dark probably has split screen too, but I'm not 100% on that.

Yeah the Wii is what you want if your looking for party games.
Not really party games, just something that we can all sit round the telly and play.
Well I managed to put in my lovefilms queue:
Cod3 (review stated it had excellent split screen and the ability to drag 4 players online on the same box)
Fuzion Frenzy (might as well, it's rented with easy game*******)
Only 4 player games on the 360 I know of (besides Fusion Frenzy) are the ones from XBL Arcade:
Gauntlet, Small arms
2 player:
Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, Smash TV, Lego Star Wars 2, DOA 4, PGR 3

LoL I have PGR3, but where is the splits screen option? It's been driving (haha, geddit? god I'm funny) us nuts for a few days

Project Gotham Racing 3 has an undocumented (as in, not in the documentation, not as in "unknown") split screen mode that allows head-to-head racing on a single XBox360 with multiple controllers. At the opening screen select "More" and then "Change Profile" and, start hitting "A" on the other controllers to link up. Sweet."

Nevermind, I found out... the split screen option only appears if you create a second account first... which is complete balls of the PGR GUI.
in gow you can only do split screen online by logging into TWO xbox live a/c's. sucks big time unlike graw
play worms on XBLA till bomberman comes out on XBLA then play that

Worms and gauntlet for 4 players deffo. Worms is the best by a long way.
