Probably better that way...
...I spent the best part of 7 hours playing it today and I feel quite knackered now, lol. Of those 7 hours 4 went on tweaking and styling my car. Hence you probably wouldn't have got any revision done today .
PS. A three hour exam must be torture .

Lol well not much revision got done anyway... but thats a different matter!
Yes 3 hour exams are hellish! what makes it worse is that generally its not just one paper, there either 75 mins long, or as in tomorows case 3x1 hour papers with no breaks
So by the time I finish tomorow im not out until just after 5pm.
But I suppose the upside is once im out it will be a friday night, and il finally be able to pick up a copy of forza!
How's everyone getting on with it then? I've just hit level 16, done all the Proving Ground and just over half of the Amateur series, got to move onto the Manufacturers ones for now though. Managing to use all the cars I've won most of the time, except for 3 series. Relatively little upgrades so far, too, bar that damn American muscle one. God I hate those cars in this game.
Is it just me or do some of the tracks seem a bit easier compared to the first one? Like that left-right towards the end of Road Atlanta, I always used to put my car in the gravel unless I went at 30mph but now I just breeze through it. The back straight on Tsukuba seems shorter too...
Loving it so far, almost at level 20 now, done lots of stuff here and there, just got the last race of the flyweight and the heavyweight series to go and I've completed proving grounds. Been doing a few of the semi-pro races, completed about 4 of the series' there. Unlike you I've heavily tuned a couple of my cars, but so far not bought any. Just tuned up a Nissan R390 that I won in semi-pro, cost me 200k to do it XD
What difficulty you playing on BTW? I've got mine set all to the hardest except auto gearbox, but for some reason I don't have the "won a race with assists off" achievements. I'm guessing they count automatic gearbox as an assist.
Attempted to do a factory settings race and boy its hard, I got placed right at the back of the grid, everyone in the exact same car, I managed to get up to third but after that I just couldn't gain decent time on the other two ahead of me.
EDIT: Woot just hit 20 Can enter every type of series now, although theres only like 2 championships I can do in pro and endurance.
Kind of wish I didn't spend all that dosh on my Nissan, it's a bit wild and I've only had the chance to race it round really twisty tracks. But oh well, doesn't take long to get that money if you race in the semi-pro series.
you know what, can an admin delete this thread untill i get my copy, its not fair all this teasing!
Starting to get used to that nissan now, its a bit difficult to control but it's pretty damn fast, just did a race round Laguna Seca and that went much better than the tracks I was on before, but I'm still taking the corners a lot slower than I should be.
EDIT: No idea how you managed to beat that ferrari, it absolutely rapes my GTO.
My copy arrived this morning! A fair bit earlier than I expected it to: well done Amazon UK.
If anyone plays this online then please feel free to add me as a friend - my gamertag is in my sig.
Is the collectors edition worth buying at all?
