Well i'll be buying this for the ps, the new video is pretty cool!!, wonder if their gonna implement the sixaxis into the control system??? There maybe extra content but who cares, the games gonna be good enough without an extra gun, wonder if there's gonna be kill frenzy back???

I like that they've ditched the business side missions, I was never a fan of those. Should make the main storyline a little more focused than previous games. They were always just a necessary evil for those that wanted to complete the entire game, everyone else just used Vigilante to make cash.

I'm not sure how they'd implement sixaxis to make it worthwhile. The top half of your guy's body is meant to be a lot more dynamic compared to the rock solid steadiness of the last fellas, so I suppose it could give you a little control over that. The only other thing I can think of is some sort of leaning-out-from-behind-a-wall-to-shoot sort of function.

yeah i cant really see the sixaxis as much help, As for the property side of things, im glad their not dealing with this anymore, your a millionaire property tycoon doing drug runs for the local baron, doesnt really work, i can see xbox live getting a demo first.

I'd be very, very surprised if there was a demo. Considering the file size it would be a nightmare to download.

yeah didnt really think about the size issue, although with the amount of interest with a video it would be meltdown if a demo came online, i'm glad there's no planes this time heli's will do fine.
What about damage to vehicles??

Yeah I think that a demo would be a bit too much to ask. Even the smallest of demo's on the 360 (content wise) are nearly 1Gb so I'd hate to imagine what GTA would be like.

Loving this pic, the graffiti is spot on, and there's a few references to earlier gta's, el burro, It also looks like you can take cover against the wall.

why no planes:| why not?makes no sense to cut out previous options. I personally like the variety of buying propertys well atleast in vice city because the whole scarface take over the city concept worked with the game.for this i guess its best not having it...after all gta3 is the best IMHO of the "3d" gtas... I played it to death and am thinking of starting it again bout lol thinking about it I doubt that as I'm playing through gtasa ATM as I never got full on into it:\
like it now though gotta get it done in time for IV.
the graf is spot on as you say. el burro "the donkey" "now you'll see why they call me the donkey eh" lol memorys. I don't care what people say london was also amazing simply because its UK and games were always american/forgein in every way etc but not with london.

Otherwise, I'm well looking forward to the PC port. Oh yes. San Andreas did not rock my socks like Vice City, so let's see how they do with this one!

San Andreas on PC was awesome. Especially because it was so easy to mod it to look far better.

penguinjim, the topic is not about version's (both have exactly the same story), if you would of read the way the other gta4 thread went then need i say no more.
I am def looking forward to the pc version and that would of been my first choice, but because i got a ps nice and cheap i'll be looking forward to buying it and then maybe dabble with the pc version much later than the console releases. the heli in the vid looks dam fine and WHEN we get to fly that its gonna be heaven.
