Please recommend me a Wii game to make me consider keeping it!

Guys as the title states, my Wii has been used only once are twice and now lies in a sorry state unplugged at the foot of my TV gathering dust. The initial excitement of the motion developed games wore off and I really want to give the console another go by buying a game that will reignite my faith in the console! I have Wii Play & Sports, TMNT (for the kids) and the marble game Kororinpa. If anyone could recommend a game that will blow my socks off I'd appreciate your thoughts please before considering packing it off to eBay land. Thanks.

thanks for the tip Steve, I saw a quick glimpse of RE4, am I right in thinking there not zombies in this game but just like weird townsfolk that all seem to be wearing braces and sporting moustaches or am I attributing this to a strange dream I once had?!?

they're not so much zombies, as people infected with a sort of virus thing. you start off by fighting townsfolk with pitch forks, but im at a stage fighting soldiers with knives and various guns im well over 10 hours of gameplay too. awesome game

Yeah Zelda is excellent as well as the games that are going to be coming out. Wario Ware is crazy fun (as long as you are comfortable with being childish). Call of Duty was alright, and I've heard Mario Strikers is really fun.

Well, to be honest mate, if you only flirt with the system, playing the pack-in games and some Turtles game for the kids, what do you expect? If you want the system to seem better, maybe go and buy some of the better games? Logic is your friend, my friend.

So there are the Wii games you can pick up and play, the games you can settle down in front of for a slower, more rewarding experiance, the VC (Virtual Console) games, the Cube games that are worth picking up for a few quid on eBay, and the games to come.

Far too many to list, but a few good examples from each:

Pick Up And Play: Mario Strikers Charged Football, Monkey Ball.
Deeper Games: Zelda, Super Paper Mario. (NTSC only at the mo)
VC Classics: Super Mario 64 \ World, Sonic II.
Cube Games On The Cheap: Wave Race Blue Storm, Luigis Mansion, Pikmin 1 & 2.
To Come: Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Smash Bros.

Messing around on Wii play and watching the kiddies play Turtles is not getting the most out of your Wii.

Mario Strikers is a ton of fun, especially with two people (not a lot of fun with more than two since I never like having more than one person on a team). It's not just mario football, it's more like mario ice hockey with no rules. Great fun, worth looking into.

Wario Ware is also great fun on your own but even better with more people.

Big Brain Academy is also quite good and it's not too expensive either.

I cant add much to what has already been said Zelda TP and RE4 Wii are both top recommendations.
I'd also add Godfather Wii, graphics may be PS2 port level but the motion controls are the best that have been done on the Wii so far in my opinion.
