    Forza 2 trouble..

Forza 2 has just started been very odd today.. very long loading times.. pieces of the track missing.. freezing whilst saving screen shows..

The disc has scratches on it too.. I bought the game brand new.. I belive the scratches happened when the console was vertical, however I haven't really had any problems with scratching whilst horizontal.. but then again even with the scratches there still wasn't any problems playing the game.

So what can I do? I know I can pay Microsoft a tenner to get a replacement, but it must be covered under warranty as I've only had it for about 3-4 weeks. How would I go about contacting the right people?

    Cheers!

Edit: Just a side note... all my other games don't have scratches.. have no freezing problems, etc.

similar problems with Forza 2 for me as well, missing track...flashing grass borders on the side of the track only happens on the nuernberg track and in the same place on the first few courners after the long straight.

I've heared of people getting scratched disks replaced for free - worth a phone to MS stating that the XBOX has scratched your disk as you've been very careful with it always?

Yeah maybe.. what department should I contact though?

Anybody else had any experience with this? I need to find out fast if it is the console because the warranty runs out on the 15th of this month..

    Re: Forza 2 trouble..

I'll try giving the same department I used when I got the 3 red lights tomorrow. I've tried playing forza 2 again today and now on the new york circuit it just won't load at all, it will either freeze (the whole console) or just keep 'loading' forever.

Microsoft better replace my disc too otherwise I will be very pissed.
