Free Wii remote jackets from Nintendo

Have a look on the UK site, fill in the details and you can have up to 4 free remote jackets sent out to you, just in case you're prone to smacking mates around the head whilst playing Tennis etc.

Good find dude. Now I won't feel so guilty when my flatmate gets a rogue Wii controller in the face during a hectic session of Resident Evil!

Good find - although they remove the sleek look of the wiimote

Re: Free Wii remote jackets from Nintendo

Never mind the looks - free is good.

On a side note does anyone know how discriminatory they are about replacing the wrist straps - on the site it says they will replace them if they were bought in December. I got my wii in February, with the newer straps, but my brother still managed to break one...

But the order form is useless for those of us who bought the wiimote without a wii, as the form needs the wii's serial number. I guess Nintendo shouldn't need to worry about those of us who use the remote with a PC

This is exactly how I got stuck with a 1st gen strap.

My Wii jackets arrived a few weeks ago, they're pretty ugly to be honest, but they certainly do a good job at protecting the wii-mote

Re: Free Wii remote jackets from Nintendo

I think they look pretty cool

a lt better than the third party ones at least

Saying that I only have on in use. Its a bit anoying having to take the jacket off to put the controller in the charger

I reckon it makes the wiimote better to use when playing virtual console games. The jacket makes it more comfortable to hold when using the d-pad.
