How stupidly good is this game?

    Ridiculous.
    Good bye social life!

Re: Super Mario Galaxy Owns Your Big Fat Mom!

I think this game is amazing.

For the first 10 minutes of play I was a bit unsure then I started getting into it. I think it deserves all the good reviews as it's definitely one of the best mario games I have played (I couldn't stand sunshine on the cube).
It's also given me a reason to turn on the Wii after the months of dust gathering.

The only negative thing I would say is that it seemed a bit easy to get to 60 stars. I'm up to 70 now and haven't really had a problem getting any.
I just opened up the trial galaxy so I'm hoping it will be more of a challange.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy Owns Your Big Fat Mom!

I'm loving this game but it still didnt give me the thrill i got the first time i played Super Mario World on the SNES!

By the way on the galaxys bit what does the little crown symbol mean next to certain levels once they are completed?

    Cheers all,

The crowns mean you have got all the stars on that galaxy and is complete.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy Owns Your Big Fat Mom!

But when you go into the first observatory and it shows you like 5 galaxies i only have crowns next to 3 of the 5 yet i have all the stars in them ... why is that?

    Regards,

I can't tell you as it would be a spoiler, just keep playing and don't worry about those galaxys, you won't be able to complete all of them yet.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy Owns Your Big Fat Mom!

This game is just awesome. A welcome return back to how Super Mario 64 made me feel while playing. Mario Sunshine was really poor in comparison.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy Owns Your Big Fat Mom!

I never finished it with Luigi. Getting all of the stars with Mario was both a sublime and infuriating experience though. Wish I could forget it all and play though afresh.
