    UK Rock Band pricing confirmed.

It's not cheap, I never thought it was going to be cheap, but £180 for the lot seems excessive to me. There's no full bundle like you can get in the US. The instrument pack is going to be £130 and the game has an RRP of £50. No doubt retailers will be doing their own packages and we maybe be able to shave a few quid off that £180 figure.

The DLC songs will also be double the price of the US ones starting at 160 MS points a pop

I know everything over here costs more, I was expecting something around the £120 mark. I was fully intent on getting RB when it was released over here. I think I'm gonna see if you price drop after it's been out for a while now.

This was a comment on gaming site I originally read the news on.
I picked a random US retailer, and had a quick look.

$466.97 for Rock Band AND and Xbox.

£235.78 at today's rates. Only £55 more than Rock Band alone.

Wow those prices are pretty ridiculous imo. Never thought I'd see the day when a single game cost more than the console it's played on.

thats a joke, wonder how much of a profit mark up they have with these kits? like 1000%? costs them probably £10 a kit and they sell them for 20x more, what a joke.

If some1 can afford this then send some money my way , could do with an sli rig .

Re: UK Rock Band pricing confirmed.

a complete joke nobodys gonna buy these its a stupid idea and Harmonix supposedly hit out at EA for the pricing as they have basically killed the game over here for both consoles best thing to do if your lucky enough to own a ps3 aswell as a 360 is import the american version of rockband as its only £80 with all the instruments but packagings gonna hurt your wallet but we talking about £130 for the lot saving you £50.
