    Eurogamer 10/10 - http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=263778

Looks nice as long as you throw away the misconceptions that RPGs must be hard, easy to get lost in and long.

    PC version please.

    2 days play time? oO

hmm that seems slightly too short to justify a purchase to me that the moment.

    It's no FF game then?

Mass effect was also very short. I don't have anything against short games if they deliver a good experience and don't cost the earth. Most shooters can be completed in a day for example.

People said that Halo 3 and CoD 4 were very short, but I found that playing through the storyline on medium and hard took a considerable amount of time.

Where does the 2 days that you refer to come from? which link?

    Re: Fable 2 - 9.5 - IGN.

2 days actually playing, holding the pad? As opposed to you will beat it 2 days after you get it.

It took me 48 hours of game time to get 100% on GTA4, and believe me, that did not feel short.

2 days play time is fine.

It doesn't have to be as long as FF7 to be a good RPG.

    Re: Fable 2 - 9.5 - IGN.

The sheer fact eurogamer gave it 10/10 makes me... sceptical... I mean, all of the 'good' high profile games they've give pretty average scores to.

Going to pick Fable 2 up asap, I can remember the hours I spent on Fable fondly

    Re: Fable 2 - 9.5 - IGN.

I think part of the joy of RPGs is the replay value, that you can play the game, do it in a different way and get a different story entirely bar a few identical parts (like the beginning)

Eurogamer are a joke, with their 10/10 review scores. I can see why you might give GTA4 10/10 (although it clearly isn't anything like a 10/10 game) but Fable 2?

10/10 on Eurogamer means 'its pretty good actually'

No its set a long time in the future, no need at all to play the last one.

Other than it be a cracking, but all too short game

    Re: Fable 2 - 9.5 - IGN.

fable 2 is about 15-20 hours for the main story but there are all the side quests too such as demon doors and dungeons,

looks very very good am waiting on my copy eagerly.

there have been quite a few bugs reported by the americans who already have the game, things like missing wives and such.

still thnk it will be brilliant though.
