Any Madden fans about?

Was watching the game on the BBC the otherday and now find i wouldnt mind playing it on my xbox while im recovering from a broken jaw.
The question is what version to get 09 is out but has seen some mixed reviews with some being very critical of the adapting dificulty level and poor AI. OR should just get 08 which seem to get a more consistant review score? cheers

Borrowed 06 and 09 from a mate in work, found it pretty much just played itself with just a press of the A button every so often. Not overly impressed with either. Achievements are asy enough if your bothered (06 easier than 09).
