I am sure that the 360 would be a decent 700PPD system on average but there is no client for the 360. Is this more to do with the fact that the 360 would last about a week if it was used for folding and RRoD RMAs would be sky high?

I would think it would use the cpu and the gpu

Yeh I reckon it will just overheat and break...
well if you run the F@H client on a GPU it still makes it hot.. but i dunno if it'd be possible to run a GPU client variant on the xbox 360 though.
all creating graphics is is number crunching aswell, that's how processing works.. but then the OS or DX turns those numbers into an image on your screen.
i reckon it's a good idea to try and get F@H on the xbox 360 though
folding can use cpu and gpu which would use the unneed resources so leaving the xbox on main menu or running the system a full load with a very intensive game would be the same excpet it would be max load all the time the system is on so YES it would increase the chance or RRod due to heat problem and it would also decrease life span of the cpu and gpu i think.
