Where's me damn folding icon gone?

Whilst I was away I shut down my PCs as I wasn't too keen on leaving them running unattended.

I closed down the my lappy, forgetting it was folding.

Anyway, I boot it back up when I get back and it appears to be folding as I can't run the client, it keeps saying that another instance of FAH is running.

The problem is, I've no gear icon in my system tray any longer which means although I can use Task Manager to stop the process, it just starts up again!

I'm not to worried right now as I'm not using the lappy but I do need to figure out how to permanently stop folding on this laptop... which I could do by right-clicking the gear icon, but with no gear icon in my system tray I'm stuck!

So, a)how do I stop folding without the gear icon (and how is folding going on anyway?)? and b) how do I get the gear icon back?

Sort the list of processes by CPU usage, the one using 100% will be the culprit. There are two folding processes, the one which gives you the management front end and the one which does the work.

Kill the second one
