Well my baby was picked up Fri & got to Germany yesterday.
I've got Halo3 & COD5 to play when it comes back so I hope they can pull their fingers out! I'm hoping my Xbox skin goes back on properly as I had to peel it off before sending

mine should (apparently) be delivered tomorrow, so 12 days (7 full working days) most of which spent in transit! Oh how I've missed it!

Failing that, I repaired mine with a kit from ebay (that never cost that much) took a bit of time, patience and some swearing. It's just a case of replacing the thermal paste on the GPU and CPU, assuming it's caused by the normal problems. I would only recommend this as a last resort though.

To completely fix/ best prevention of the RRoD issue it requires more than the above. If you go on modding sites only a full heatgun and re-soldering in some cases is the way to go and if your not willing to do this just send it back to MS.

Got mine back today, motherboard replacement.
Am well gutted as the vinyl I had on it has stuck to what I was storing it on so I've had to bin it, god why did they make xboxes so..white ?

Like the majority of folks who own a 360 mine is white

Elites are a bit redundant now that they all have HDMI & you can buy HDDs easily, time for a change MS! Maybe by the time this RRODs again & is out of warranty I can buy the new colour/version
