    Thumbs up PlayTV v1.10 update

    PlayTV just got even better...

There was a new update for PlayTV released this morning.

    New features:-
    - PlayTV master volume adjustment
    - PlayTV automatic volume normalising
    - Picture quality enhancement by upscaling video
    - Switch to last channel
    - Direct to live tv setting
    - New fast forward and rewind speeds

The direct to live tv is a long overdue feature

    Re: PlayTV v1.10 update

I am trying to get one from ebay at a reduced price but all my dosh went on a HD4870 and upgrades for my PC. Maybe my next payday I will deff get one, though I am not a big TV guy, I prefer to download movies.

meets with full approval here! Decent little pvr, potential to be rid of / move the telewest/virgin box

is there any way to transmit the output fromthe ps3 to another room/tv? And any idea if it has a sleep function (ps3 and/or tv)?

not sure if it helps, but the ps3 has the ability to shut itself down after x time if its idle, and you can tell it to override any programs/games/whatever as well.

have a look in the ps3 system option (just dont set it too low, or it will turn off when watching a movie )
