PC Usb Headset - Work on 360 too?

IMO the wireless headset is overpriced, extremely uncomfortable, doesn't pick up voice properly and always runs out when you go to use it and the battery takes hours to charge.

A chap I play cod4 with swears by his but when I looked into it all the reviews I read said there wasn't much in it sound quality wise so I grabbed a pc headset and adaptor instead for a total of about £18 and to be honest I can't knock either for the price.

I've been using the wireless headset for 18 months now. So much better sound quality than the wired one. It has its own channel, rather than using the same one as the controller in use, so it is much much better. I hate having to go back to the wired headset, the sound is muffled. The only downside is it takes an age to charge up.

I have never had any issues with voice pick up, neither do the others that i play with.

Fair play dude, as I said I've got no personal experience with them only what I've heard and read and seeing as I'm fussy over my headphones I decided not to take the gamble.

ive got a wireless one and the sound isnt that much better than the wired headset, also it could do with a bigger ear clip, my ears arent big (well i hope so anyway ) but after a while it does go a little numb.

What i would do is get a look at the Turtle Beach EARFORCE X1, they can be used with both PC and 360. Sounds pretty good compared to the tv audio, and it has an attached microphone that can be flexed

Edit: much more expensive than the above solutions but i felt they were maybe worth the mention

Yes I would also recommend a Turtle Beach, although the X1 some find a nuicance as it has a few wires. I have an x3 and its great, especially for night time gameage!

The X1 is around £50, a tad bit expensive to other solutions but if you dont have a sound system/ using TV/Monitor speakers its a very good investment.
